Municipal Buildings Commission

The Municipal Buildings Commission meets, as business warrants, in the Municipal Building. Established by the City Code of Ordinances Chapter 2-100, the Municipal Buildings Commission’s purpose is to acquire, own, equip and maintain certain public buildings, and, as circumstances require, to issue bonds and incur debt in order to carry out those powers. Members shall be appointed to a term of five years by the City Board of Directors. Expired members will continue to serve with full authorities until reappointed or replaced.
